RU and XSU08 crossed roller bearings have a similar structure, they are both crossed cylindrical roller bearing with mounting holes. RU and XSU08 series bearings inner and outer ring are solid one piece, so they both have high stiffness. But if you want to choose a crossed roller bearing with mounting holes, how to select from RU cross roller ring and XSU08 crossed roller bearings? Is there any difference between these two series?

Since XSU08 series slewing rings are with counterbore mounting holes, so here we will only compare them with a part of RU bearing models that are with the same mounting hole types.

From the size chart above, we can find that the RU series cross roller ring has a smaller size range, while the XSU08 series cross roller ring has more choices between the inner dia. 130~360mm. Besides, from the size, especially the width of the bearing, we can see that XSU08 whole series bearings are 25.4mm in width. So they belong to a thin-section crossed roller bearing group, also a constant section cross roller bearing.
Therefore, RU crossed roller bearings will have higher loading capacity than XSU series(due to thicker width), and XSU cross roller ring is more suited for limited space, and applications which has requirement on lightweight of bearings.
RU and XSU08 cross roller bearings precision compare
From the above data, we find RU and xsu08 crossed roller bearings have different rotation accuracy standards. RU series has three levels of running accuracy, that is P5, P4, and P2, while XSU series bearing only has one standard for whole series models. Users can select according to their specific requirements.
