1. Which precision grade shall I select?
There are mainly three precision grade for RU series crossed roller bearing, P5, P4 and P2. The table below shows RU297G bearing run-out tolerance of each grade, users can select based on their actual application and requirements. 2. What’s the difference between clearance CC0 or C0?
RU297G bearing CC0 radial clearance is -0.01~0mm, while C0 radial clearance is 0~0.07mm. Generally speaking, when high accuracy(runout) and high stiffness is required, negative clearance CC0 is suggested. When the temperature difference between inner and outer ring is large, or a lower friction torque is required, C0 clearance is more appropriate.

Cautions: For crossed roller bearings with split outer ring, when the rigidity of the mounting parts is not sufficient, stress concentration will occur at the contact area between the rollers and raceways, and the bearing performance will be deteriorated significantly.
Therefore, it is necessary to carefully examine the rigidity of housing and the strength of fixing bolts when a large moment will be applied.
2.Fix the inner and outer rings in the axial direction directly to the mounting surface by fixing bolts
3. If large number of radial load and/or moment is applied, it is recommended to prepare flange part as Fig.4.
