1. What’s the difference between RU178, RU178(G) and RU178X?
The suffix G/X refers to the detailed structure of mounting holes.
No Symbol: Inner ring is counter-bore hole and the counter bore holes of the inner and outer rings face the same direction
G : The counter-bore holes of the inner and outer rings face opposite direction.
X : Inner ring tapped hole (through hole)
2. What’s the difference between clearance CC0 or C0?
RU178X bearing CC0 radial clearance is -0.01~0mm, while C0 radial clearance is 0~0.05mm. Generally speaking, when high accuracy(runout) and high stiffness is required, negative clearance CC0 is suggested. When the temperature difference between inner and outer ring is large, or a lower friction torque is required, C0 clearance is more appropriate.

Cautions: For crossed roller bearings with split outer ring, when the rigidity of the mounting parts is not sufficient, stress concentration will occur at the contact area between the rollers and raceways, and the bearing performance will be deteriorated significantly.
