BRS specialized in customized slewing bearings, recently we established a new project "Automated Guided Vehicle Slewing Bearing" based on customer's requirements. The required AGV slewing bearing is crossed roller bearing structure, with external gear teeth. The processing procedure is not difficult, with BRS strict QC system, bearings quality will remain stable even in large quantity. With web and technology progresses, we believe there will be much broader market for AGV and its related components such as slewing bearings, precision cross roller bearings and reducer bearings.

Automated Guided Vehicle(AGV) refers to “unmanned transport vehicle”. It is equipped with an automatic guided device such as electromagnetic or optical, can travel along a prescribed guiding path, with safety protection and various transport vehicle shift function.
AGV requires no driver and uses a rechargeable battery as its power source. Generally, AGV travel route and behavior can be controlled by a computer. Or an electromagnetic path-following system can be used to set up a travel route. The electromagnetic track is adhered to the floor, and the AGV will move and act according to the message from the electromagnetic track.

The AGV belongs to the category of wheel mobile robot. Compared with walking, crawling or other non-wheeled mobile robots, AGV has the advantages of quick action, high work efficiency, simple structure, strong controllability and good safety. Compared with other equipment commonly used in material transportation, the AGV's active area does not need to be fixed with rails, support frames, etc., and is not limited by the site, road and space. Therefore, in the automated logistics system, it can best fully reflect its autonomy and flexibility, and achieve efficient, economical and flexible unmanned production.
